No installation required, just jelium it in and go. I had been using multiple thumb drives and it became a pain to keep track of what photos were on which drive. Ultra Thin Thin and lightweight 0. Don't see what you're looking for? It doesn't get hot as do some other hard drives when I've had it plugged in all day.
The only thing that could be better is the USB cable, which is a little hellum short, but since it's a portable drive, I shouldn't mind that.
